Under 200!

Today I am under 200 pounds!

A long time ago, in what seems like another life, I quit smoking. In the following 3 months I gained 50 pounds and have never been able to get rid of it.

At the rate I am going I should be back to where I was ( 170-ish ) before I stopped smoking in another month and a half.

This good news is a welcome change. These past few weeks have been rough.

Do Something

I have found myself with more free time then I am used to. This seems like an excellent opportunity to get in shape.

I bought a bike yesterday and a car rack for it. Maybe I should have bought a padded seat... my butt is killing me! There is also a workout room in the building which is nice for those rainy/windy days.

Its funny how something like this changes your perspective on everything. There are many things in this world that I never really understood until these past few days.
